    At the Strandhotel, you can book your stay and choose between a Non-Refundable and a Refundable rate. 

    When a reservation for lodging, with or without breakfast or menu, is made for one or more individuals, the following cancellation conditions apply:  

    Non-Refundable: 

    For a reservation with a non-refundable, the Uniform Conditions of the Hotel and Catering Industry apply, in case of cancellation:  

    • more than 1 month before the effective date 0%.
    • more than 14 days up to and including 1 month before the arrival date 15%.
    • more than 7 days up to and including 14 days before the arrival date 35%.
    • more than 3 days up to and including 7 days before the effective date 60%
    • more than 24 hours up to and including 3 days before the effective date 85%
    • 24 hours or less before the effective date 100%.

    Refundable: 

    For reservations with a refundable rate, the following conditions apply:  

    • For cancellation up to 7 days in advance, free of charge.
    • For cancellation 1 to 6 days in advance, 50% of the reservation value.
    • For cancellation on the day of arrival, 100% of the reservation value.

    In accordance with Uniform Hospitality Industry Conditions, we speak of a group when there are 10 or more guests to whom catering services are provided by a catering establishment. When a reservation is made for a group the Cancellation Fee for that reservation shall be the following percentage of the Reservation Value applicable to that reservation:  

    In case of Cancellation:

    • more than 6 months before the reserved time 0%.
    • more than 3 months up to 6 months before the reserved time 10%.
    • more than 2 months up to and including 3 months before the reserved time 15%.
    • more than 1 month up to 2 months before the reserved time 35%.
    • more than 14 days up to 1 month before the reserved time 60%.
    • more than 7 days up to and including 14 days before the reserved time 85%. 
    • 7 days or less before the reserved time 100%.

MewsPay works in accordance with the guidelines of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This General Data Protection Regulation is the EU directive that specifies how personal data of European citizens should be collected, managed and secured.

    Your reservation must be paid in full 6 weeks prior to your stay and is automatically charged from your creditcard.

    • Official communication channels:
      The Strandhotel will never contact you by text message. All our official communication is through our phone number +31 117 39 21 10 and our email address info@strandhotel.eu.
    • Verification of payment requests:
      If you receive a payment link or payment request that you do not trust, always contact us by phone or email using the contact details above before making any payment.
    • Phishing Warning:
      Be alert to messages that urge you to take urgent action or that seem too good to be true. These may come from malicious parties posing as the Strandhotel
