Stylish design from Studio Piet boon sets the tone in the Strandhotel
The Strandhotel is undergoing an impressive metamorphosis. Building, rooms and public spaces all get a new signature, led by the distinguished international design agency Studio Piet Boon. The first 34 rooms were completed in July 2018. The second series of luxury styled rooms and suites will follow in the fall of 2019. Stylish design combined with spectacular views across the beach, sea or the Zealandic countryside together form a special guest experience in Cadzand-Bad.
In the new Strandhotel, the feeling of a warm welcome starts at the entrance. Natural colours and robust furniture complement the friendly atmosphere and relaxing look of the Living. The living room and the beating heart of the hotel.
Also new is the Japanese food bar Blueness, a unique food concept from Sergio Herman. The Japanese inspired kitchen merges with Zealand’s best products. For the guests who treasure their breakfast rituals just as much as any other culinary moment during the day, we offer Pine House at Boulevard de Wielingen.
Food & Well-being go together in the Strandhotel. This spring the hotel will become a unique 25-meter heated indoor pool.
Built in the dune, on the lowest level in the hotel.
The second phase of the new development is still ongoing. The Strandhotel will be totally renewed in the fall 2019 and will then have 74 luxury rooms and suites. For the guests who prefer more space for a longer stay at the sea side, the hotel has eight apartments. After completion of the second phase, guests will also be able to enjoy beauty- and massage treatments and the sauna.
The newly developed Strandhotel has an underground parking garage.
