In the restaurant of Blueness, from Wednesday to Sunday, our beloved Zeeland top products are prepared in a classic way and with Japanese accents. In this tastefully decorated counter restaurant, in the lobby of the Strandhotel, chef Thijs Baert shows what he can do with the subtleties of this natural cuisine. On weekends, a live DJ set enhances the mystical feeling and sexy atmosphere. International guests and local residents meet for an aperitif and elegant dishes.
Blueness is open from Wednesday till Sunday.

From the first of May, Blueness Cadzand has come to the end of an era in which we say goodbye to our chef Thijs Baert. Talent often chooses its own path. We are proud of the fact that Thijs has been part of our gastronomic family for so long and we would like to thank him very much for that.
This transition phase has given us the space to think about where we can innovate, renew and improve. With the input of our guests, colleagues and partners, we have come to new insights that better suit the needs of today's guests.
Blueness Cadzand will no longer exist as such, but we will continue with a new interpretation that focuses on the needs of our hotel guests. Sergio Herman will still be responsible for the offer and the employees will be given more responsibility for the ins and outs of the bar. We look forward to welcoming hotel guests and visitors and residents of Cadzand to this new setting with low-threshold accessibility and where you can choose from a wonderful selection of wines, surprising cocktails and a selection of accessible dishes.
